I’m absolutely speechless, these are so incredible. We both love them. Thank you so, so much. I’m a tad emotional!! What an incredible gift you have. We will write a proper thank you, but I just wanted to say that we are so grateful to you, your patience with us and your diligence. You captured our amazing day so incredibly. Every so often I looked to you, and knew 100% why we chose you, you are honestly fantastic.” – The lovely L&K.

2025 – Wedding Photography Favourites

I couldn’t share the wedding tied to the above quote, although they have kindly let me share a few here, but I was so thankful to receive such a kind set of words, as I really do set out help my couples as well as photograph their day. It really sums up the work I do, and I truly loved working with L&K.

As always, this blog post is truly the BIGGEST labour of love. I know I’m old fashioned in wanting to do this year on year, but I truly believe that the best way to improve is to reflect and critique!

This was my 11th ‘Best of’ – and I’ve mentioned before how I can’t say this truly is the best of my work because who really knows that. But these are my favourites. Favourites meaning, the ones that catch my eye, that stop me in my tracks, that made me laugh, smile, reminisce. Essentially evoke all the feelings I hope my couples will experience when looking over their photos in years to come. It’s what I’m best at, memory jogging. It’s probably why I’m still here after 13 years. I won’t lie it’s tough out there knowing that I’m often going against the grain in what I share. I haven’t felt the need to attend (paid for!) styled shoots so my instagram grid looks a certain way. I haven’t only shared portrait images. I am still utterly rubbish at reels. I don’t post on TikTok although my business sense is nagging at me on the regular about this.

But I am still here. Still showing up, believing in myself (as much as my crippling lack of self esteem allows.) I’m extremely lucky to have some phenomenal friends who have been there for so many years that keep me ‘keeping on’.  I love this job. I love weddings. I love most of all the connections I make and the incredible people I meet. No-one goes unnoticed. I remember them all. I still bump into people in the most random places and think oh gosh it’s such and such’s mother from 2016 in Kent. The best part is when they remember me 🥹

This was a smaller year for me as I purposefully took more time off to spend with my son before he started school. But 2026 is back to full swing, more weddings, more amazing venues and only 3 spaces to fill. Grateful.

Thank you must go to those amazing suppliers who helped make these days so special. So many to mention, but a delight to work at Grittenham Barn, Loseley Park, Millbridge Court and Little Dower House again. Also fab to work alongside OWP Weddings and Hayloft Floral, both regularly recommended over here.

Thank you to each and everyone who chose me last year – you brought more joy than you imagine 🩷
