Summer at Millbridge Court
Sian & Matt, what a couple and what a day we had at one of my favourites, a Summer wedding at Millbridge Court in Frensham. It’s no secret that when the venue had their 10 year anniversary party I suddenly felt a little old, remembering that I first shot there in April 2015! Where does the time go?! Thankfully it’s a venue that keeps on giving, and each time I step through the doors, I feel an immediate sense of calm and that ‘coming home’ feeling. Not many venues can top that, and the main reason I feel this way, is because all of my couples who choose this venue, are honestly pure gold. The kindest, sweetest, chilled and loveliest people to be around. It’s like a hidden prerequisite in Millbridge’s contract I swear!
Back to these two, meticulously planned to perfection, I remember meeting Sian and Matt at one of Millbridge’s detail date nights, and was so excited chatting to Sian about all the things they had planned. It was a day that went exactly as it should, peaceful, graceful and perfectly summing up the two of them. Preparations were done at Millbridge, but the ceremony was held at The Holy Family Church in Farnham and after a lovely service and confetti run, a Fiat 500 escorted the couple back to Millbridge.
The reception was just as lovely, with the couple spending time making use of all the grounds, for some really beautiful portraits. Photographing these two was fairly effortless, Sian carries herself with such poise, it really was a pleasure capturing them both. One of my favourite entrances to the wedding breakfast was followed by some amazing and funny speeches, before the evening kicked off with their stunning first dance. All in all, a day that filled my cup to the brim, and one that made me forget that I was even at work. The fact couples like Mr & Mrs H choose me, always makes me feel so grateful. Thank you again for being such a gorgeous pair, you smashed it! And it was lovely to revisit these photos again! <3 xxx
