Wisley Gardens Wedding

My first Wisley Gardens wedding having been visiting for over 30 years! What a way to start…with these two, a TOTAL delight to work with. Honestly could you find a happier couple? I think not. So laid back, so in the moment, and so perfect to photograph. And no, I’m not referring to the fact they’re both clearly gorgeous individuals, but more that they did their wedding in entirely their own style. Focusing on what mattered most to them, which was essentially giving their friends and family a fun-filled day.

Suki arrived with her girls moments before the ceremony, where an eagerly awaiting Ben was keeping his guests entertained. Suki’s proud Dad escorted her into a song-filled celebration before Ben and Suki were whisked off around the gardens in a golf buggy after having a basket loads of confetti dumped over them. Since Wisley was open to the public during the day, the couple were applauded pretty much throughout our visit around the grounds which only added to the cheerful atmosphere. Arriving at the Glasshouse where all the guests were in full reception swing, we enjoyed the amazing weather and I did my best not to eat all the canapés.

The speeches were split into two halves, and I must say, they were easily some of the best speeches I’ve ever heard, we were laughing, crying and all the speakers did the most amazing job. I was lucky enough to see another of my lovely couples’ from the year before, Emily and George, which is always a pleasure!

Suki and Ben, thank you for being so utterly brilliant to photograph, your smiles were so infectious, and it was clear that you are so adored by all your friends and family, I couldn’t have asked for a better debut wedding at the beautiful Wisley Gardens!
