“Thank you SO much for the photos! We’ve had so much fun reminiscing about the day and how much fun we had! You captured it so perfectly – all those little moments, plus the ones between others that we didn’t see on the day. We absolutely love the photos and are so happy with them! There’s so many good ones that we’re finding it hard to decide which to frame!”

It’s taken me far too long to blog this absolute gem of a wedding. My first time photographing a Morden Hall Wedding, and one I’d been so excited to capture as it’s where my parents got married back in the 70s! Annabelle & Josh had the perfect August day, not too hot, sunshine and clouds, plus that oh so precious golden hour. With such extensive grounds, it’s a venue to make the most of, so I am so pleased for them that we were able to be outdoors for the most part!
Annabelle and her family got ready at the impressive Cannizaro House before heading to join Josh at St Mary’s Church in Wimbledon. A lovely, peaceful and emotional ceremony was held in the beautiful space, and we had such a fab paper confetti line along the sprawling driveway. I LOVE when couples choose paper confetti (biodegradable of course) as it holds so nicely in the air! Always a favourite shot.
Everyone then headed via two London Buses to Morden Hall. I loved the way the couple designed the tablescapes, I am big fan of sunflowers and think they complimented the room beautifully, I don’t often share loads of detail shots as I am more of a ‘moments’ girl but everything looked so stunning!
Favourite memories from the rest of the day included the impromptu paper umbrella shots, (such a classy way to add some fun to photos) the change of skirt to sleek evening attire, and last but not least, the AMAZING drum solo to an Oasis song that Annabelle nailed, performed along with Josh singing and Annabelle’s Dad on guitar. It was SUCH a great surprise and really kicked off the party. I truly loved this wedding, it was a busy busy day, felt as though it went at 100mph at times, but the adrenaline was high and the atmosphere was brilliant. One I won’t forget for a long while, also thrilled to be photographing Annabelle’s brother’s wedding next Summer so it will be just so fab to see so many of this crew again! Thank you A&J for making my job so easy! Here are a few of my favourites x
