I'm extremely lucky that after 14 years in business I have accumulated an enormous collection of wonderful wedding clients, who have since become parents and have continued to use my services. There is nothing more flattering than being invited back to photograph their growing families, especially as some have booked me year after year.
But, if you're new here, then welcome! I am Sophie, and as well as a wedding photographer, I fill my diary with beautiful family shoots throughout the year. I hope my work speaks for itself but if you wanted an idea, my sessions are often described as 'the most relaxing, fun and enjoyable time spent.'
I love working with children, it comes naturally to me and I am lucky that they are usually comfortable around me from the offset. I also experienced with SEN children, so if you are worried that your child may struggle, please do mention this, as I will hopefully put your mind at ease.

My biggest goal in capturing your family is reminding you of the fun we had during the session, not that you felt you were being photographed. I encourage play, silliness and quiet pauses to appreciate the moment. If a child is shy then we will find something that brings them out of their shell. I work with my parents to make them feel included too, it's not just about the children! Having professional images of yourselves with the little ones is SO important too.
